Office “lady cave” Makeover

Interior Design

One of my most fun projects to date has been this pretty-in-pink office makeover. My client has great taste, and has worked retail most of her life (hence the one-of-a-kind hot pink fur coat as art). Her husband built this “lady-cave” as her office/spare room/get away space. It’s the perfect blend of Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blond meets Anna Wintour’s New York apartment. From the gold chandelier and hot pink velvet chair to the fashion-inspired gallery wall complete with fur handbag, I love every bit of it, and if I go missing—this is likely where you’ll find me. Enjoy!

Nick Alain

Interior Design, Things I like

Sometimes, you come across a furniture line that makes you get inspired in a way that’s totally not your style. It’s a little glam, a little steampunk, and a little romantic. That’s Nick Alain, formerly Luna Bella. From caged floor lamps to glass/shagreen nightstands to glam lighted mirrors, there’s a little something of everything. These pictures don’t do the line justice, it really is something to see! Check out their website for many more inspirational pieces!

Mod Design via Las Vegas

Inspiration Images, Interior Design, Things I like

Just like we need 5 different pair of evening shoes, we need 5 different living rooms to decorate in all different design styles, right??  While it’s the opposite of what I typically do for coastal design, I love the look and feel of an uber-contemporary interior. It has an urban and sleek look that dictates the whole design style. From plush velvet sofas to mirrored console pieces , I love this edgy and modern take on interiors. At Las Vegas market, we loved the inspiring vignettes of Resource Decor. Take a look at some of these contemporary cool snapshots from their Las Vegas showroom.

Costa Blanca

Interior Design

Karen Kerns and I are honored to have been asked to be a part of one of the newest and most exclusive design projects on 30-A, Costa Blanca. It is a 3-story, 14 unit condominium located directly on the beach at the west end of 30-A. Its architecture is a modern take on the clean and simplistic approach to design with white exteriors, glass balconies, and floor to ceiling expanse of windows. Interior details include quartz countertops, wood or stone flooring, and glass accent tiles to name a few. At the request of the investors and listing realtor, Royce Mitchell, we developed concept boards for 3 different floor plans with 3 different themes: Beachy Casual, Smooth Transitional, and Soft Contemporary.

Sanctuary by the Sea

Inspiration Images, Interior Design, My Favorites, Things I like

This is another look at ongoing staging projects in Sanctuary by the Sea that were recently furnished to sell. We wanted each of the units to have a distinct look– from soft, beachy casual to elegant and refined. Both have a completely different look, but are furnished to appeal to the majority of prospective buyers. Since furnishing, unit 2126 has been sold, but 1128 is still on the market.
