It’s so rewarding to see design spec work come to life. Karen Kerns and I were a part of the entire process for Costa Blanca 30A — from the first set of floor plan revisions to selecting all flooring, paint color, lighting, countertop, and tile options. Owners were given the liberty to choose these options from pre-selected palettes and certain design elements were implemented throughout such as pecky cypress ceilings and quartz waterfall countertop details. We used online design inspiration to depict general ideas that would be included in each unit. These ideas helped to shape the overall concept of how the building evolved, and it’s been fun to see it all come together. Even more rewarding is getting to design the variety of styles and interior furnishings that our owners have selected as finishing touches in their units! Lots of those condo photos to come– they’re all so different and BEAUTIFUL, you’ll have to help decide which is your favorite!

   

Setting the tone for the architectural elements of a building starts on the first floor.  Not only did Karen Kerns and I furnish 5 of the units in this building (more on those to come!),  but we also furnished the lobby of this stunning new build on 30-A. We chose a neutral color palette for upholstery and case goods with pops of bold blues in art and lighting. We utilized a mix of warm wood tones and natural hide rug to ground the space.

Sometimes that perfect piece of art really makes the space! This Watersound home has such cool design elements such as shiplap, a floating staircase with 20′ of hanging chandelier lighting, and hand-stained wood floors. The client is an avid original art lover, so this piece was the perfect pop on an all white entry! This gorgeous modern beach house will be featured on my website soon, so stay tuned!

Work is RUFF sometimes! Grover and his friend Mia are LOVING this new Bernhardt acrylic arm sofa in the Lovelace Showroom!

Talk about a peaceful and inviting guest bedroom! The floor to ceiling modern Ikat draperies, Feizy rug, Jamie Young lamps, Vanguard nightstands, Basset pearl leather upholstered bed, and custom bedding create such a soothing space. Sherwin Seasalt SW6204 is on the walls, and a John Richard Mary Hong replica hangs over the bed to complete the space. Stay tuned for more images of this gorgeous Watersound beach home!

It’s pretty cool to see a design vision come to life. This larger-than-life dining area will include an almost 20′ long upholstered dining banquette along the back wall with 2 custom dining tables with light fixtures above. Loving this new addition to our showroom– a Dovetail mid-century mod sectional with deep emerald and teal pillows from Ryan Studio as accent. The Safavieh modern black light fixture and bold John Richard gold lamps add a WOW element to this vignette!  The deep teal wall color makes the white Century Furniture credenza pop!

Rounding out our 2018 fall travel was a quick (and I mean 24-hour quick!) trip to Las Vegas back in October. We were in Sedona for a friend’s wedding, and decided to take the time a road trip to Vegas for the night. As usual, it never disappoints! We made the most of it by sightseeing, including the Chihuly glass plate display in the Bellagio Lobby..

and botanical gardens…

followed by cocktails at The Cosmopolitan, Chandelier Bar…

and dinner at (our coast-to-coast favorite) Beauty and Essex!

Last but not least was a cirque show, Michael Jackson ONE, at the Mandalay Bay.
