Womanista Gift Guide: Gifts for the Home

So, one of my all time favorite blogs to follow is womanista.com by the fabulous (and nice, fashionable, down-to-earth , the list goes on…) Cassie Kelley. She is super talented, and has great taste.  I loved her blog on great gift ideas for the home (see below). Follow her blog for more fashion, lifestyle, and interiors!

I think my favorite kind of gifts to give (and get!) during the holiday season are items that make a home warm, stylish, & inviting – which can be something small & budget-friendly like cute cocktail napkins, or a grander item like a crystal decanter. Bottom line, I love them all. Here are a few of my favorite picks this year!

Ashley Brooke Designs “Jingle Juice” cocktail napkins: How fun are these?! I love a witty cocktail napkin. They add a laid-back, whimsical vibe to a cocktail party and can give your guests a little  witty “wink” – these napkins from Ashley Brooke Designs are some of my fave!

They are chic & stylish and the gold metallic script adds some festive glitz! You can pick them up as a hostess gift or fun stocking stuffer for your bestie who loves to entertain for $22 for a pack of 25.

My love affair with Ashley Brooke Designs continues with THESE notecards, too. Who doesn’t love a fancy flamingo?? I’m obsessed.

Rose Quartz “Kiva” platter from RabLabs: This gorgeous, versatile platter is DEFINITELY on my wish-list this year. It’s just stunning. I have a cheese plate in my home pretty much once a week (or twice, who and I kidding…) and this rose quartz is the perfect accompaniment. Each platter is made of natural stone & rimmed in 24K gold and hand-polished by master craftsmen in Brazil. You can pick this one up for $420 (I know, not inexpensive…but for that special someone on your list who deserves a splurge, this is the ticket!) If the rose quartz isn’t your thing, you can get it in cobalt, crystal, emerald, or “zebra” (a gorge stone with a mix of neutrals) & you can also get the medium size platter for $250.

Carley Kahn custom children’s art pillow: This is the CUTEST idea, and such a great gift for grandparents, aunts, uncles, or even your kids. You can submit a drawing & have it customized on a pillow by Carley Kahn.

Each design is printed on organic fabrics with water-based ink and the process is easy! This is an easy way to incorporate a child’s creativity into their own space, or in your home (beyond displaying numerous pieces of art on the refridgerator!  Prices start at $99 for a 12×12 pillow.

Danica Studio “Prim & Proper” Kitchen tea towel: This cute & fun kitchen towel is a sweet & practical gift for any chef on your list. I cook a lot – and that means I wash a lot of dishes! So having a cute towel to accessorize your kitchen sink is a must-have. Plus, for $13, this one is an inexpensive option that make a great hostess gift, or thoughtful christmas gift!

Lorena Gaxiola multi-colored rocks glass set: This gorgeous set of six mouth-blown rocks glasses is brilliantly colored and special for anyone who entertains, likes a great cocktail, or appreciates artisan glassware! I’m obsessed. These tumblers are such a special gift, AND everything is 20% off of the Lorena Gaxiola website TODAY! no promo code necessary, just purchase them today and get 20% off, PLUS free shipping. (seriously, it’s an awesome deal!)

Custom Confetti from The Confetti Bar: Y’all, WHO DOESN’T LIKE CONFETTI!? Not this Womanista, that’s for sure. Which is why I’m obsessed with the confetti bar. It’s fun, whimsical, and HELLO?!, you can create custom confetti. This is the best hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or fun little gift for a friend. Why not create some confetti with your friends name and favorite colors? Or make some that is perfect to toss on New Year’s Eve. Anything, really. Confetti is just fabulous.

Happy shopping, womanistas!
